My Treatment Philosophy

My goal is to empower you to live a meaningful life by developing a more flexible relationship with your thoughts and emotions. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Since every client is unique, I tailor treatment to your specific needs and goals.

Our work begins by building a strong therapeutic relationship, identifying your key concerns, and clarifying your goals. From there, we explore what matters most to you—your values—so that our work has a clear direction. I will help you better understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact, and together, we’ll develop skills to navigate challenges more effectively. Over time, we will gradually confront fears and discomforts that have been holding you back, allowing you to reconnect with the activities and relationships that bring meaning and purpose to your life.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the understanding that mental health challenges—and healing—do not happen in isolation. With experience in a variety of mental health settings and with a diverse range of clients, I recognize the profound impact of systemic forces on well-being. I strive to understand each client within the context of their background, identity, and life circumstances, creating a safe and affirming space for growth.
