Dr. Whitney Wheeler Joins ATCA!

We are excited to welcome Dr. Whitney Wheeler to the Anxiety Treatment Center of Austin!

Dr. Wheeler graduated with a PhD in ​counseling psychology​ from the University of Kentucky. She is originally from North Texas, but grew up spending a lot of time in Austin. Since moving to the area, she has been enjoying the live music, museums, and exploring all the local restaurants the city has to offer.

Dr. Wheeler has experience working with children, adolescents and young adults, and—as an aside—has a toddler of her own. While she likes to treat the full range of anxiety disorders, Dr. Wheeler has a special interest in seeing patients with co-morbid anxiety and depression, as well as working with anxiety related to trauma and PTSD.
