Given my experience, I have had the opportunity to treat a variety of anxiety and anxiety-related health problems. As such, I specialize in treating the following for Texans and residents in all PSYPACT states:

  • Insomnia

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome

  • Nightmare

  • Tinnitus

My Treatment Philosophy

My philosophy is to offer compassionate evidenced-based treatment and to do it in a way that encourages people to explore their authentic selves. The clients I treat most often are those who suffer from anxiety, where it has impinged upon their values and ability to be their true selves. While anxiety is a natural part of our human experience, too much can be maladaptive. My goal is to help clients examine and confront the root cause(s) of their anxiety so that they can find better ways to manage it and ultimately pursue a life with authenticity.

In order to meet this goal, I aim to provide high quality evidenced-based psychotherapy treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure, and mindfulness-based strategies (origins from Eastern theories and practice). Additionally, for those who prefer insight oriented therapy, I can also provide a psychodynamic approach. Whichever path you prefer, we can find a more effective way in facing anxiety so that you can pursue your life values.

Professional Consultation

I also offer professional consultation for healthcare professionals interested in learning about evidenced-based treatments.
