Our team member, Katy Rothfelder, MA, LPC, will be co-presenting “OCD 101: Myths vs Facts” with Andrea Alvarez, LPC-S at the OCD Texas Symposium and Mental Health Fair on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in San Antonio. Katy is a licensed mental health clinician. She specializes in supporting individuals suffering with OCD and related disorders as well as neurodivergent children and adolescents. The Anxiety Treatment Center of Austin in pleased to announce that Dr. Ryan Douglas has been granted full licensure as a psychologist in Texas! Dr. Douglas has been with the clinic for almost two years; he specializes in treating the full range of anxiety disorders with a special emphasis on Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Panic Disorder, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Join us for our Open House by Diana Damer October 14, 2012 The Anxiety Treatment Center of Austin is hosting an Open House for professionals, prospective patients, and members of the Austin community. The Open House will be on Friday, November 16, from 4 to 7 pm at our offices at 8705 Shoal Creek Boulevard, Suite 108. Our staff will be on hand to discuss our approach to anxiety and the services we provide. We hope to see you there.

OCD Texas is hosting a film festival for their upcoming conference, which is sponsored by the Anxiety Treatment Center of Austin. The films can be viewed online, and an online discussion forum is being held from Sep 13 to Oct 13 on their website. Screenings and discussions will also be held at the conference. Films include As Good as it Gets, The Aviator, Matchstick Men, and many others. Check out the OCD Film Festival website for more information.

The Anxiety Treatment Center of Austin is proud to be sponsoring the OCD Texas Conference in Austin on Sat, October 13! The conference will feature advocacy and awareness-raising events to coincide with OCD Awareness Week (October 8-14). Dr. Damer is moderating a panel on “The Simple, Unwashed Truth — Dispelling Myths and Sterotypes about OCD” and our staff will be present to discuss OCD and its treatment.
