My Treatment Philosophy

Anxiety is a normal part of the human experience. However, we tend to try and escape or stop anxiety as it leads us to be uncomfortable. Many tactics we use help us feel better in the short term but give anxiety more control over our lives and perpetuate our need to escape. It is my goal to assist you in increasing your tolerance of the uncomfortable while also learning new response patterns to internal experiences. We will identify how anxiety may hijack your emotions, thoughts, and actions and focus on skills to put you back in the driver’s seat. My aim is to help you face your fears and live a more fulfilling life through collaborative work in a supportive environment.
